You’ve probably heard about the Nebraska meatpackers who won the largest lottery jackpot in the United States last week. One winner replied “I’ve been retired for about four days now” when asked what he would do with his winnings. His response did not surprise me; I’m sure my reaction would be similar!

What does surprise me is that many Americans believe that they cannot retire comfortably unless they win the lottery. A survey by the Consumer Federation of America shows that 27% of Americans believe that their best chance to gain $500,000 in their lifetime is to win a sweepstakes or lottery.

Fortunately, building a comfortable retirement nest egg is easier than you think. Here are five steps to help you build a comfortable retirement:

1. Start early! If you started saving $100 a month beginning at age 18, you would have over $500,000 by age 65. The power of compounding is great, and the earlier you start saving, the greater the benefit. The easiest way to get started is to enroll in your company sponsored retirement plan. If your company doesn’t offer a retirement plan, signup for automatic withdrawals to a Roth IRA or mutual fund.

2. Have a plan. The best way to ensure that you will have a comfortable retirement is to plan how much you will need to retire. Sit down with your family and decide what you’ll do when you retire, where you’ll live and what your spending needs will be. You can’t reach your destination if you don’t know where you’re going.

3. Participate in company sponsored retirement plans. Many companies offer matching contributions to your 401K or other retirement plan contributions. This is free money – take it!

4. Invest in a diversified portfolio of stocks and bonds, that fits your goals and risk tolerance. Studies show that your investment return is determined primarily by the allocation of your assets, not the individual investment selections you make.

5. Keep your costs down. Invest in no-load, low cost mutual funds (or other investments). Lowering the expenses in your portfolio by just 1% can equate to 20% more money in your portfolio after 20 years.

Although winning a large lottery certainly can’t hurt, following the steps above should send you well on your way to a comfortable retirement.

It was a few years back and I am a avid player of the pick3 lottery games. I was looking over past drawings and in the back of my mind something, a little voice, prompted me to look back at the history of the drawings 90 days. Now, I do not remember if I read it somewhere that it was a good strategy to look back that far in history of lottery drawing numbers or not, but I went back 90 days and a particular number just seemed to stand out. Really stand out, and that number was 867.

If this was the beginning process of manifestation, I do not know, but I do remember that I wanted a strategy that would allow me to hit the right number at the right time a couple of times a month minimum if not once a week. I also wanted to make at least 5 thousand dollars per month and I set in my mind that I was going to find a way to do this through the lottery. There were many advantages to this as well. One, I never bought or played all of my money on one ticket. I would break a ten dollar bet up into ten separate tickets, that way I would avoid the tax penalties for a winning ticket being over five hundred dollars. Second, I truly believed there was a way to do this. To find the right number at the right time, but I discovered something much more deeper and astounding.

When I saw that number 867, and I instantly knew that was the number that was going to hit, I went about my process of going to the local store and telling them I wanted that number on ten separate tickets for one dollar each straight. I then went home and waited for the grand hour of the drawing knowing deep down inside I was going to make five thousand dollars that night. Well, the drawing went off and not a single number was part of what I wanted. However, there was a feeling, and this is the feeling that I believe when people talk about manifestation and the feeling of want, what that feeling or better yet instinct feels like.

To me that feeling or instinct is like a baseball game. There is one powerful pitcher on the mound and one powerful hitter at the plate and they are just dueling it out. The count has been run up to three hits and two strikes and the hitter knows deep down that the pitcher is going to be throwing a fast ball. He has one job. To nail it. Not only nail it, but make sure the ball is hit so well it goes well over the wall for a home run. I had that feeling and I also knew that the number eight had been out of play for several weeks and was due to hit. With that in mind, I was the hitter and I knew that my number was coming and I was going to hit that home run and collect my five thousand dollars.

Well, the battle or duel had started. Everything was in place. I had my number, I knew the eight was due, it didn’t hit on the first night that I played it and it was officially now the day of my birthday. What a present that would be. Perfection. Now, I have read about manifestation that it all startes with the desire. The pure intent that is deep down in your soul that what you want you know with all your heart and soul that it is going to happen. Everything was in place. The hour came of the drawing and I knew this was it. It was my birthday, I had the number, it was going to be my home run. The number was drawn, and once again, not even close. I was disturbed. Deeply disturbed.

Now, the next part of manifestation that I understand is that you have to release your intent. To let it go completely. Let it go completely out of your mind to where it never existed, never even was a thought. I did not know of any of this, but I was driving home from work the next day and saw my friendly convience store and the thought hit, that maybe I should play my number one more time just for the fun of it. At first my thought was nah, just let it go, you have already spent twenty dollars on a hope that turned out to be just a hope, there is no use and spending another ten dollars. Well, I said the hell with it and pulled in to the store and told myself this was it. I will play the number one last time and just move forward from there and find another number or angle, strategy, something that would move me closer to my goal of winning a couple of times a month. So, I walked in played my number with no emotions like I had before with emotions, but not this time. No emotions, I just told the lady at the counter, give me my number and here is my money.

That night, I did not even want to watch the drawing. I had told myself I would just check it out in the morning and whatever happens will happen. I let go of it. I did not even have the desire for it to hit at that point. With the last two drawings not even being close to my number I figured that night the drawing would be same and not even close. If this was part of the manifestation process of letting go, I certainly had let it go with complete apathy to whatever the outcome of the drawing might be.

The next morning I stopped in at the store to get a coffee and asked the lady if she would give me a report of the numbers that had hit the night before. I took the report, the size of a ticket and did not even look at it. I just stuck it in my pocket. Boy, talk about letting go. Its like I cared, but really did not care what was printed on that results ticket. Well, later on after doing my usual routines, I felt the ticket in my pocket, pulled it out and took a look. Oh my, clear as day the number on ticket read 867. I had to sit down. Thoughts ran through my head at a mecurial pace. I won. I hit the home run. I was not even trying to hit it. But, I hit it. I went later to the grocery store, because I knew they would be the only ones that would have five thousand dollars in cash on them and I cashed my ten tickets. I was beyond happy. I just kept saying thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, over and over, and I have no idea who I was thanking, but I was the most thankful person that day at that moment anyone could have met.

Since then, I have investigated the stories of manifestation and how to include them in your life and how it works. But, there are many many questions that I still have about manifestation. At the same time, I have a deep down inner soul feeling that I understand it. Questions, that occur the most frequently to me are was it a matter of the opportunity meeting the timing and I was there for it? Did the manifestation process work, I just did not know I was following the process? I have many lottery strategies and methods I use to predict the next winning number and I do have a fairly successful high hit rate. I have met my goal of being able to hit the winning number more than a couple of times a month. I have also found that since I have begun using affirmations my hit rate has gone up. Now, I do know, what your conscious mind plants into your subconsious mind will turn out successful in positive ways, even if it does not involve the lottery. I now use affirmations, meditation and have a complete new awareness of events that take place around me or involve me. I recommend everyone to at least explore manifestation and see how it can impact your own life.

So you think you have no chances of winning the lottery? This impression would soon be change if you try the Georgia Lottery Cash 3. Provided by Georgia Lottery, playing the cash 3 is definitely simple and anyone is given the chance to enjoy it but of course, every gambler must first be 18 years old and above.

When playing the Georgia Lottery Cash 3, you will notice that two draws happen each day, six days a week and one evening draw during Sundays. You can always monitor the winning numbers just be constantly visiting their official website. Playing the Georgia Lottery Cash 3 is actually not a complicated game for you only need to choose a 3-digit number ranging from 000-999. Each game costs $.50 up to $1.00 and the price actually depend on the type of game you are going to play.

First, you need you need to check if your chosen numbers are properly printed on your ticket. There are cases when some customers who later on complain that they don’t have the exact three numbers printed. So be responsible and check first your ticket before leaving the retailer. Who knows your numbers might be the once drawn, so it will be a great disappointment if you have the wrong numbers with you.

If you notice that there is a mistake, you can cancel your Cash 3 ticket in the terminal where you bought your ticket within the span of 15 minutes of your purchase or the remaining time before the draw happens. For novice players, here is a step-by-step guide on how you can win this lottery. The number of games actually depends on your budget. So if you have enough budget, you can play in as much as you want. For a $1.00 game, you have the chance of winning $500. Meanwhile, the $.50 can give you $250 as your prize. To choose your preferred numbers, you must first mark the amount you want to play. Second, you need to determine on what kind of system of Georgia Cash 3 you want to play. There are three ways of playing the game, the exact order; 3-Way Box and the 6-Way Box.

The first way of playing the Georgia Lottery Cash 3 is played in choosing the numbers that match to the winning lottery number in the same order. The odds of winning this game is only 1:1000. So you have a slimmer chance of winning. On the other hand, you can win the 3-way box if you have the exact three numbers even if they are not in an orderly manner. So, if your lotto number is 198, you can still win if the lotto number drawn is 8-9-1. As compared to the first way of playing the Georgia Lottery Cash 3, this gives you better chances of winning. And lastly, the 6-way box is similar to the 3-way but instead of two different numbers, you need to pick three different numbers. And yes, you are right, the second way gives you better and greater chances.

Is winning the lottery pure chance or is it destined?
Seasoned predictive numerologists and astrologers
will tell you that no circumstance in anyone’s life is
completely random.

Auspicious times in people’s lives are easily seen in
numerology and astrology charts. The far less prosperous
times are also visible. The collections of considerations
comprising patterns in numerology and astrology charts
represents all significant life circumstances.

At the same time, it’s impossible to identify exactly how to
win money during any specific time (what numbers to play,
etc.) for any one person, but instead, it’s possible to say when
a person is most likely to win. There are definite times in
everyone’s life when more money comes in than goes out and
other times when more money goes out than comes in. In fact,
it’s often easier to identify through the charts when a person
will have financial challenges and when they won’t be lucky.

Furthermore, everyone has their own unique periods of time
throughout life when financial success is much more likely to
manifest by taking the right action at the most opportune time.
For example, ten different real-estate investors (all with similar
experience, intelligence, etc.) in the same city are, at the same
time, aggressively buying new properties to expand their
companies. The tremendous success of three of them and the
moderate success of the other seven has everything to do with
individual timing and karma, and nothing to do with luck.

Generally, if the cause of a particular fortunate event is not
clear, it’s common for people to call it luck.

People get lucky because they make their own luck and the
timing supports it.

Making one’s luck may include placing the winning numbers
in a lottery, spending many years in school to obtain a well
paying job, or working tirelessly for 40 years to build a
successful business.

What also may appear as luck are rewards (”good karma”)
from past lives, such as being born into a family with loving,
supportive parents. Our lives are mostly what we, as souls,
make them before incarnating; many key life events are
predestined. How we, as personalities, deal with and embrace
our individual life lessons is what life is all about.

In examining the numerology and astrology charts of people
who have won large lottery jackpots, the aspects reflect what
their personal experiences will be with suddenly having a lot
of cash. For example, if it’s their karma to have “negative
experiences”, such as bankruptcy (common with lotto winners)
or attracting many opportunists who are after their money,
their charts will reflect this. Or, if it’s their destiny to use the
money wisely, retain their wealth, and to create charitable
organizations, the charts will represent these probabilities.

Some people have asked us if it’s possible to get the winning
lottery numbers in meditation or through consulting with a
psychic. If it were possible, many psychics would be multi-
millionaires. Perhaps it’s not possible because winning such
a large sum of money would alter a person’s life blueprint so
drastically that they would miss the destined and karmic (”good”
and “bad”) experiences they’re here for. It seems likely that it’s
only possible to get a glimpse of the winning numbers in
meditation if it’s your destiny and karma to win.

It’s also interesting to note that handwriting analysis can
identify if a person is blocking prosperity in their life.
Although a person may feel that they consciously deserve
more abundance, their subconscious (which rules over the
consciousness) may feel like they don’t deserve it, thus they
sabotage circumstances in their lives that equate to having
more money.

Comprehensive numerology and astrology allow us to identify
the best times to be lucky. It’s up to us to get to know ourselves
well enough to know what type of plan is for our highest good
and what is not. “Success” comes by taking the path most suited
to us. All of us have our own unique key experiences in life to
learn and understand; this is what matters most.

Sixth Sense -A Human Being’s Non physical Component

Your first test is to come to terms with the fact that we humans have a nonphysical component that lends itself beyond our normal five senses. Consider our entire being, both the physical and nonphysical, similar to that of a huge iceberg in the Antarctic. Now, the tip typically represents about ten percent of the whole iceberg; that is, when you fly over an iceberg in the Antarctic, you are actually seeing a tiny section of a huge, floating ice mountain. Think of that part, the part that sticks out of the water, as both the physical and mental aspects that make up a human being. In other words, the iceberg’s tip is both the flesh that makes up the body and the decision making voice in one’s head.

Now, take the iceberg’s remaining ninety percent, the part that sits submerged in the ocean. This part represents an even more dynamic and amazing aspect to our being. Just as the greater mass of an iceberg is hidden while flying over, so is a greater portion of our being. You could almost think of the water’s surface, where the iceberg begins to protrude out of the water and into the air, as an interface between the conscious and subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is merely another gateway that lends itself to a deeper aspect of who we are. It’s like a gateway to a much larger self and, just like the tip of an iceberg, there is a lot more to our being than what lies on the surface.

After considering for a moment that our being, both physical and nonphysical, could be compared to that of an iceberg, we can take the analogy one step further and reference both the ocean in which the iceberg floats and atmosphere above the surface.

The physical space in which an iceberg exists here on Earth is three-dimensional. We live on a three-dimensional physical plane of existence; we also have a time dimension on this physical plane. As a result, we are considered to be on a four-dimensional plane of existence.

The analogy holds true when you consider the ocean and the open air. Ninety percent of our iceberg sits submerged in the ocean, while ten percent protrudes into open air. If you were to treat the ocean like its own complex dimension, and the open air as our four-dimensional plane, you would see that the majority of our iceberg sits in one dimension, while protruding into another. This analogy holds true for all of mankind. A human being is nothing more than a small, physical representation of a much larger and more dynamic being. And for whatever reasons deemed necessary by the powers that be, we all come here with focused awareness and intent.

To extend the iceberg analogy, let us assume that our iceberg floats over an incredibly deep trench. This trench is so deep that it appears the ocean has no bottom. Likewise, from the surface, we look up into the day’s beautiful blue sky and see nothing but vast blueness, no evidence of a universe in existence, but we know it exists. Could more dimensions or parallel universes exist outside the confines of our universe and we are just too small to recognize them?

The planet Earth sits in a solar system that sits in a galaxy and the galaxy sits in a cluster of nearby galaxies and these galaxies, amongst other things, make up our universe. Suppose the universe is in a cluster of universes, and that cluster is apart of an even bigger galaxy of universes. This process could potentially go on for infinity and we would never know it because we haven’t the ability perceive anything directly outside of our universe.

What if our conscience works similar to such a belief? That is, what if our conscience is spread out over many dimensions or parallel universes, and only capable of perceiving one level of awareness at a time? This level of awareness would be of course here and now on this physical earthly plane. When we die, we transition or retract into another dimension; some might call it Heaven. The result is our consciousness doing an awareness shift, leaving the physical dimension through the shedding of the physical body, a necessary physical container for one’s consciousness if one is to exist on this plane.

So here we are, all metaphorical icebergs floating around in the same great ocean, parts of our beings above water, and another part submerged below the surface, separate and individual, yet connected through common composition.

The Gatekeeper Mechanism

The very mechanism that connects us to this nonphysical level of being is like a gatekeeper. This gatekeeper is the very mechanism responsible for relaying information between the conscious and subconscious mind. It is a middleman, so to speak. We do not know where it resides; perhaps it is a chemical in the brain that purposely keeps our awareness focused in the physical for the sake of completing our earthly tasks. Perhaps it’s not physical at all.

The subconscious has access to the higher self, the metaphorical ninety percent floating under the ocean. The nonphysical component of our being, that is, the conscious interaction between the gatekeeping mechanism and subconscious, is what is responsible for various psi-related phenomena such as remote viewing, astral projection, premonition, intuitiveness, and many others.

It also appears to exist as a protection mechanism. Perhaps in some cases, people find themselves in direct line with upcoming catastrophic events that could prematurely separate them from this plane of existence. As a result, being that their departure is too early, information is passed along, warning of preemptive danger, perhaps in the form of a vivid dream or gut feeling. This would be a premonition, so to speak.

Time

What if time was merely a perceptual phenomenon? That is, what if time was a man-made mechanism used to sequentially separate events in a linear fashion? What if time did not work the way we thought it worked?

The next section, which deals with remote viewing research, has indicated that time is not linear but dynamic. That is, future events can, in fact, affect current events.

What if there was a way to access the deeper levels of our conscience and have it intentionally focus on an event in another dimension or perhaps a parallel universe? Say this particular dimension or parallel universe had a timeline concurrent with a future event, such as the Super Lotto.

In theory, the nonphysical aspect of our being already spans space and time. Seeking out and locating a dimension whose SuperLOTTO drawing is concurrent with the dowsing session is almost instantaneous. With a little help from a dowsing pendulum and some meditation work, one can access have access to this information and make use of it.

Remote Viewing

Remote viewing is loosely defined as, “The attempt to gather information about a distant or unseen target using paranormal means or extrasensory perception.”

Remote viewing is a statistically reliable phenomenon that deals in psi function and has been rigorously tested by respected scientists and validated by respected statisticians for over thirty years. Ironically, the mainstream community is still unwilling to accept the phenomenon as legitimate.

In some respects, the remote viewing phenomenon is similar to what we are attempting to do with the lottery dowsing process. Understanding the basic principles and mechanics of a proven system helps make the dowsing process more conceivable. Both systems, as it is with all psi, utilize the same mechanics but in different ways to receive information.

Remote viewing gained popularity in the 1990s following the declassification of the U.S. government’s Stargate program. The U.S. government, through cooperation with Stanford Research Institute, studied psi functioning in humans for over twenty years.

There is some controversy as to why the program was shut down. Some say the program was shut down and declassified when it became apparent that modern technology had progressed to the point of exceeding remote viewings limitations and proved to be a more reliable intelligence gathering resource. Others say that the program was a political hot potato and the government had no business investing money in a program that dealt with psychics.

Upon the program’s declassification, highly trained remote viewers branched out and started teaching the skill to the interested public. As a result, many techniques and remote viewing disciplines have been refined and coexist today.

Remote Viewing Basics

As it is with the dowsing method, there is quite a lot of preparation involved in remote viewing, which I will not discuss in very much detail. To briefly touch on this preparation, just know that the remote viewer typically goes through a mind calming or meditation practice before conducting a session, and small details such as the placement of pen and paper are all considered.

The idea is to follow a strict set of protocols, which allow the remote viewer to increase skill level by following guidelines of a successful procedure. Usually, the remote viewer is tasked with a set of coordinates, which represent a target of some sort. The target can be predetermined by a tasker or determined after the session is complete.

The remote viewer, knowing nothing about the target, will begin a session by writing the designated coordinates on a piece of paper followed by automatic scribble. This scribble is almost like a reflex when drawn and is called an ideogram. This ideogram is the essence of remote viewing.

The major skill in remote viewing is being able to decode this scribble. This scribble or ideogram is a message from the nonphysical component of the remote viewer and it relays information regarding the target. It is passed along via a reflex through the remote viewer’s central nervous system. The idea is to successfully pass along information about a target before the conscious mind has the ability to intercept and manipulate it.

The initial ideogram can tell an experienced remote viewer a lot about a target. It will identify the target as a target on land or on water, if it is manmade or something of nature. This lower-level information allows the remote viewer to pick a direction and move into more detail with more ideograms.

The remote viewer will do this process multiple times, piecing together, a kind of, psychic puzzle until a target can be acheived. How does one decipher a scribble? The idea is to develop a kind of scribble vocabulary; that is, with time and practice, the remote viewer will develop a mental database of scribbles that helps decode information transmitted by the nonphysical component. For example, with time, the remote viewer will develop a familiar scribble that represents land, and another that represents water. With more time and practice, a rather extensive ideogram vocabulary can be developed, making the remote viewer that much more effective.

The essence of creating this vocabulary is derived from what is called probing the ideogram. Probing the ideogram occurs when a remote viewer feels out the contours of the ideogram, retracing it over and over with his or her pen. The remote viewer will take considerable note of emotional feelings and will connect with the target through his or her nonphysical component. It’s as if a strong connection is finally affirmed and reliable logging of data can then begin.

Time and Space

An interesting phenomenon, first discovered in the 1970s, was that coordinates need not have an associated target at the time of a remote viewing session.

In other words, you could blindly give the remote viewer a set of coordinates; tell the remote viewer to remotely view those coordinates and once complete, walk over to a computer and input those very same coordinates and have the computer generate a target that matched what the remote viewer viewed.

Think about this for second. What does this mean for us dowsers? Here we have an established phenomenon with years of research in laboratory settings and the standard protocol is assigning targets after a session. If remote viewers can remotely view targets that have yet to be picked, then why can’t lottery dowsers dowse a lottery that has yet to occur?

Somehow, the nonphysical component of the remote viewer knows the correct target, regardless of time and space. The remote viewer’s nonphysical component is somehow accessing one of many dimensions or parallel universes occurring simultaneously with ours. This nonphysical component is passing information back to the remote viewer through the remote viewer’s central nervous system in the form of a reflex. This reflex is recorded in the form of an ideogram.

The remote viewing process is not perfect and not easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it. There are many complex obstacles to overcome and still much to learn.

The nonphysical component that relates directly to the central nervous system appears to be somewhat primitive in a sense or perhaps underdeveloped or in a state of atrophy. Perhaps we failed to utilize a special attribute given to us in our physiology early on in human history? Then again, the functioning could be rather new.

I suspect that psi functioning in humans is rather new and right on schedule. As we work to understand its operation, an influx of new generations with psi-related abilities are taking the world by storm. Take, for example, the indigo and crystal children. As time will allow, a more spiritual human being with greater psi-related ability will begin to walk the Earth, perhaps in time to save it.

Computer Analogy

To put fourth an another analogy, think of this extrasensory mechanism or sixth sense of ours as an old computer with a slow modem from 1996. Now try to imagine streaming a movie over the Internet with this setup. You can probably imagine how painful it would be to watch a movie this way.

I kind of like to think of us humans as that old computer from 1996 with the slow modem, and this universal nonphysical dimension I speak of, as the Internet. Unfortunately our modems are so slow and difficult to use, we have learned to shut them off and live life without them.

The good news is that we have a modem; it’s not perfect and it’s not completely understood, but we can make it work. Remote viewers have been making it work for years with practice and refining their techniques. Psychics can make it work rather naturally, and I am sure you have made it work on a number of occasions without even thinking about it.

The Need for Silence

As if the first scenario wasn’t frusting enough already, let’s throw one more obstacle into the mix. Imagine you are still trying to stream that movie from the Internet. This time, imagine an annoying person who won’t stop talking and have them stand next to you as you sit and try to grasp what’s on the computer screen. You can probably imagine how difficult it would be trying to watch that movie, right?

Our thoughts, our conscious minds, are kind of like that annoying person yelling at us. When we conduct a dowsing session or when a remote viewer goes to remote view a target, a meditation should first take place. The idea is to quiet the thought process and sidetrack the conscious mind, thereby allowing the nonphysical component to perceive information with limited distraction. The conscious mind will do whatever it can to intercept and manipulate information received from the nonphysical component.

Thought Entanglement

To complicate matters further, one more scenario needs to be added to our computer analogy. Say instead of streaming your movie, that is you’re watching it as it downloads, you simply download it all at once and then go to watch it. The movie finally downloads, you hit the play button and the movie starts playing. Suddenly, you realize you downloaded the wrong movie. Sure, it was on the movie list you were looking at prior to downloading but you didn’t pick this one. What gives? What happened? You know for a fact that you picked the right movie prior to downloading it and this clearly isn’t it; something’s not right.

There is a similar phenomenon in the remote viewing world where the remote viewer will be tasked with one of two unknown targets. One target is an intended target while the other is a decoy target. The remote viewer will conduct a session and end with what he or she thinks is the correct target. A lot of times, the remote viewer will remote view the decoy target perfectly, while neglecting the intended target.

Researchers have speculated that a target has receptors. That is, a target has its own nonphysical component or attractor, which interfaces with the nonphysical component of the remote viewer. If two separate targets are involved, one being an intended target and one being a decoy target, a competition ensues. For whatever reason, the decoy will compete with the intended target for attention. The remote viewer’s nonphysical component will go back and forth, early in the session, attempting to lock on to one of the targets. The result is the occasional remote viewing of the decoy target.

Something similar happens to the lottery dowser, but on a larger scale. Instead of two targets, the dowser is dowsing forty-seven targets (SuperLOTTO). When dowsing the lottery, it is most common to dowse numbers in relative proximity to the actual pick. It’s as though the nonphysical component gets entangled or crosses lines with nearby numbers and their attractors. As a result, entangled information is often received by the dowser, thereby making it difficult to lock on to specific digits. Until the cross talk can be overcome, and specific targets can be dowsed without interference of nearby numbers, we will have to live with this proximity effect.

Closing the Session

Thoughts are like energy. It is safe to say that thoughts can traverse these nonphysical dimensions and influence the nonphysical component of our being. It is potentially possible to cross-contaminate or entangle future thoughts with current dowsing session thoughts. This phenomenon can affect the outcome. It is important to keep positive and properly close out a dowsing session. This will help to eliminate the feedback loop generated during the start of a session.

In remote viewing, a remote viewer will “close” a session after having remotely viewed a target’s coordinates. The intended target is finally revealed and the remote viewer can compare and contrast his or her work with the actual target. Closing the session is a very important step in completing a remote viewing session. It brings closure to the event and severs the mental connection with the associated target. It is equally important to bring closure to a dowsing session after the lottery drawing.

Buying lottery payments means buying long-term lottery payments in exchange for a lump sum cash payout. An annual lottery may defer its payments for many years. If a lottery winner needs immediate cash, he can sell his lottery payments to another person or company who buys lottery payments. He gets a sizable portion of his money all at once. Most states have restrictions in selling and buying lottery payments. Texas, Washington, Virginia, New York, and New Jersey are among the states that allow court ordered transfer of lottery payments. Generally 6 to 8 weeks will be needed for the transfer process. In the long run, buying of lottery payments will be beneficial only to those who buy lottery payments. You can sell all or part of your lottery payment depending upon the need of cash.

Buying lottery payments is a long term investment. As nobody is interested in long term investments, most buyers immediately sell the payments for a small profit. There are a number of professionals and companies who make a good business of buying and selling lottery payments. Most companies prefer a lump sum purchase of a lottery payment. Others offer a customized payment schedule to suit your specific needs. They review your current financial position and estimate your future needs to work out a customized payment plan for you.

You have to produce a number of documents for the transfer of lottery payments. These include a lottery award letter obtained from state lottery commission, a duplicate of your most recent lottery check, a copy of most recent tax return, passport-size photograph, identification documents, copies of marriage license, divorce decree and property settlement if applicable, copies of all important documents related to your bankruptcy discharge, and copies of any other important dealings related to your lottery winnings.

So, I’m at work the other day and I am talking to people about retirement and personal finance basics. I told them that basically I don’t want to work a job forever and I will most likely leave my current job within the next few years. I was surprised to find that most people I told this to laughed and asked if I was planning to win the lottery. This got me thinking. Is this how most people are planning to retire or leave work early? Do they realize that if they could have so much more? After talking to more people and doing a little research, it is obvious that not only do most people not have plan, their ideas for attaining retirement are just down right ridiculous.

I find it funny that a large group of people think they will get to retirement by winning the lottery. Perhaps funny is the wrong word, maybe I should say disappointing or unfortunate. Whatever the name, it’s not important, what is important is the fact that this is a “legitimate” plan for a large number of people. Actually, I was quite surprised to find how large of a number it actually is. Consider the stats below:

In a 1999 survey by the Consumer Federation of America and financial services firm Primerica found that 40% of Americans with incomes between $25, 000 and $35, 000 a year, thought that the lottery would give them their retirement nest egg. What is interesting is that the same study found that number to increase to 50% when the income is $15, 000 to $25, 000 a year. The study shows that people become more desperate and hopeless as their income decreases. Consider this: Let’s say you spent $3 a week on lottery tickets each week. If you put that in an investment at 8% for 25 years you would have $12, 557.38. I am confident that this will be more than your total lottery winnings for that 25 year period. The odds are very slim that you will win anything.

The most popular lottery in Canada is the lotto 649. In this lottery six different numbers are randomly drawn from a set of balls with numbers ranging from 1 to 49. Your odds to win are as follows:

1 in 13,983,816 or
0.0000000715%

Odds of being killed by a dog: 1 in 700,000

If everybody in Canada played the same lotto 649 draw at the same time only 2 people would win. Most people think that playing frequency will dramatically increase their chances of winning. Consider this: If you played the lotto 649 twice a week, every week, for the next thousand years, the chances of winning the jackpot are about 1%. The cost to play the lottery for that thousand years would be about $208, 000 not considering a thousand years of inflation.

I have heard that the lottery is a tax for people who can’t do math. I could not agree more. People who play the lottery don’t understand personal finance basics. I have never played lotto 649 and I intend to keep that streak for life. I see no logical reason to spend money on the lottery when I am 20 times more likely to get killed by a dog. And how many people do you know that have been killed by a dog? I rest my case.

When you are developing a pick 5 plan, you must ascertain a balance in the way of the numbers you decide to select. Selecting numbers for the pick 5 lotto can be somewhat tricky. Once you have correctly chosen numbers to play in the pick 5 lottery drawings, you will mark an rapid increase in the number of winnings against losses that you accomplish. In fact, knowing how to properly mixed numbers in your number selection efforts will benefit your chances of winning the pick 5 lottery at max.

A winning pick 5 system implies a perfect understanding of how numbers open up themselves in pick five lottery drawings. There are certain number combinations in pick five lottery drawings that rarely come up. While it is possible to win the pick five lottery by taking out rare number combinations, the prospects that rare number combinations will come up at all is extraordinarily low. If you are a pick five player that relies on rare number combinations to play the game, you are not unlike the gambler who bets on the underdog horse to win every race. When you rely on rare number combinations, you are essentially taking down or diminishing your potential for winning the pick five lottery.

There are certain number combinations that every lottery player wants to avoid. When playing the pick five lottery, you cannot prepare yourself to win pick 5 if you continuously play rare number combinations. So how do you measure what numbers are more likely to draw in pick five lottery drawings? You will need to do a little work here; you will need to review the winning numbers drawn for the last 30 to 60 drawings and to assess the frequency that certain numbers appear. You can then take the most frequent numbers that appear in the last 30 to 60 days and use them in your present day pick five lottery selections.

It is never a good idea to rely on all prime numbers, all consecutive numbers, multiples of a single number, birth dates, special dates associated with memorable occasions, or all odd or all even combinations when selecting pick five lottery numbers. A lot of people make the mistake of using the latter selection methods repeatedly, only to find that in the end that in doing so they have relied on a poorly established pick five system for selecting numbers.

Another way that people make a mistake when selecting pick five lottery numbers is identified when one decides to rely on pattern selections. Sometimes an individual may choose to choose all the numbers that appear in a vertical line on the selection ticket, or all the numbers that appear in a horizontal or diagonal line. This is a poor pick five system and the chances of winning pick five by using this system are equally poor. In reality, the numbers are drawn during the pick five drawing are numbers that appear across the range of numbers in the game and there are little to no patterns on a ticket that one can follow that will guarantee a win.

You can verify this little piece of advice by assessing the pick five numbers previously drawn in the last 30 to 60 drawings yourself. Take a moment or two to visit a website established by the pick five lottery hosting agency, access the previous winning numbers, and create a chart that reveals to you what numbers come up with the most frequency. You will quickly realize that there are no straight line, horizontal, vertical, or diagonal patterns that come up in any of the winning number combinations.

When mixing numbers in your pick five strategy maintain a legitimate balance of odd numbers and even numbers. Make sure the numbers you check for your pick five lottery efforts are an evenhanded mix of single-digit and double digit numbers. Finally, to solidify your selections in the pick five lottery, be sure to research the previous winning numbers to determine their drawing frequency.

When twenty-three year old Neal Wanless won the PowerBall Lottery in South Dakota last month, (232 million; he got to keep 118 mill), I celebrated by buying my own Lottery ticket last week, and I got 2 of 6 numbers right! My winnings: 0.

Wanless’ PowerBall is played in 30 states, plus D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our Mega Ball here in Georgia is played in only 12 states; so obviously, our game is a much better buy, with odds more favorable to our players. I’m going to prove it by winning. Soon. Someday. Probably. Maybe.

I don’t play often. In fact, I buy a ticket ($1) only when I think of it, and at my age that occurs, if memory serves, about once or twice a month. Since 1999 I have been playing with their money, as a won $200 in the weekly Lottery back then, plus occasional $2 and $7 windfalls that have totally subsidized my disgusting gambling habits. Right now, I still have about $60 in the kitty, and that should hold me over another five or ten years.

Like my good buddy Neal, I always play the same numbers based on birth dates of my kids and certain relatives of whom I am particularly fond. The selections come from a roster of numbers: 9, 15, 52, 8, 53, 31, 19, 7, 12, 17, 46, 54, 20, 2 and so on. Six are chosen each time I buy a ticket by playing online Blackjack (for free;) each time I win a hand, the card with which I won relates on a special grid to one of my numbers. The grid, of course, runs from Ace to King, plus Blackjacks.

If the Mega Ball number is a choice higher than 46, that becomes a “Quik Pik” by the vendor.

It’s a great system, and eventually it’ll pay off. Good buddy Neal says he always plays family birthdays (5, 6, 7, 12, 16, 21) and look what happened to him!

Of course, as with any Lottery, you could win with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The odds indicate the numbered balls and the machinery that spits them out have no way of determining how they will show up-the outcome is, at all times, in the hands of the gods.

If that is the case-and I have no reason to believe otherwise-I am, like good buddy Neal Wanless, destined to be awarded the Mega Ball jackpot sometime this year (I’ve always been luckiest in odd numbered years.)

Speaking of odds, they say you have one chance in 175,711,536 of winning Mega Ball with a $1 ticket. Those are my kind of odds, a real challenge. When I think of all the times I bucked the tide in Las Vegas at Blackjack (the odds there favor “the house” at 5.6 to 1,) I cringe. Sure, of all the casino games available, BJ odds are the best (Slots and Roulette tie for worst;) but I still never came home with a nickel more than I had at the start. Anyone who tells you he wins consistently in a casino is a liar. And a fool. Stop inviting him over for Thanksgiving dinner.

Of course, the worst gambling addiction by far is horseracing. Sports betting can be fun-a Super Bowl or World Series pool, the Final Four, NBA and Stanley Cup Finals, etc.-are okay with a $10 limit, but horseracing (which is certainly not a sport) should be outlawed. People demented enough to bet on horses (or dogs) are people who bet at baseball games on the shift in stats. I have a friend who even bets on whether the batter will swing or not on the next pitch!

Here in Georgia the Lottery is a marvelous thing. We have something called the Hope Scholarships supported solely by the Lottery. If a Georgia student can maintain a B average in high school, the Hope will pay for his college tuition at any state school that accepts him (my youngest daughter and her husband, my son-in-law, both graduated from the University of Georgia, thanks mainly to the Lottery-and to being progeny of the smartest people in America.)

So, win or lose with my occasional Lottery ticket, I am already a big winner. However, it didn’t stop me from writing to my good buddy Neal and asking for a small 20K loan.

No reply yet.

I was walking through the airport the other day and a headline in USA Today caught my eye. It said “Violent crime up 2nd year in a row FBI: Murder, robbery up after decades fall”.

Until a couple of months ago I, like many people, thought crime was declining. After seeing the headline I knew that I was wrong. That was when I decided to read the PERF (Police Executive Research Forum) Report. The report gave a bunch of statistics about different cities and their crime rate. I had forgotten all about the report until I was in the airport. And, was thinking about the crime rate increase.

The FBI report showed murders rose by nearly 2% and robbery increased by 7%. I won’t list all the statistics, that would be boring but one city was surprising and is worth mentioning:

Orlando: Murder: +123% -Robbery: +27%. These are not just small they are HUGE increases. Violence has re-emerged as a main issue in many large cities like Orlando. Police credited the previous decline in violent crime to a number of factors, the most notable; the breakup of crack cocaine drug markets and a greater police presence in distraught communities. This most recent increase has been less uniform than the one in the 1990s and many cities have managed to keep violent crime at bay.

So basically what does all this mean to you? No matter what the perception of your community is, it doesn’t matter how safe you think it is, don’t become complacent thinking ‘It won’t happen to me’. You have to be vigilant, be aware of your surroundings and the potential to become a victim.

There are 2 other statistics that I thought are worth mentioning; First, the overall rate of violent crime for 2006 was 473.5 per 100,000 people. And second, the chance of winning the grand prize in the Mega Millions is 1 in 175,711,536. If you buy lottery tickets you better learn to protect yourself because the chances of being a victim of a violent crime are 831,995 times greater then winning the lottery.

So my advice to you is don’t have to go through life paranoid, just be prepared. Know that you can protect yourself and learn the proper ways to do that. Like I said before it doesn’t matter how nice of area you live or how safe you think you may be. You have to be aware of your surroundings so you don’t become a statistic.
