5 Card Draw

During the American Civil War, this 5 Card Draw poker game rose unimaginably and since then it has become to be the most popular game for almost a century. There are sub-variations for this card game:

* Draw Poker To run a betting game became a felony in Nevada but since the game was seen to be based on skill, the Attorney General of California declared that the anti-gambling laws could not make it stop.

* Stud Poker – Since the game was based on chance it was still deemed illegal. With this decision, Draw Poker games developed and grew abruptly. With such Nevada had to reverse its stand in 1931 and casino gambling was legalized.

7 Card Stud

The game took over the throne shortly before WWII and has maintained its position for about 40 years with the help of the new and thriving Las Vegas casino industry.
